Refunds, cancellation and delivery
This shop takes bank transfers and sends refunds the same way — by hand, which is why the timings are written down.
Paying
There are no cards. Payment is by FPS, and the order reference goes in the transfer message.
That reference is the only thing tying your transfer to your order. Without it staff still match on amount and time, but it takes longer.
An order is confirmed when staff have matched an actual transfer in the bank. A screenshot is not a payment.
Cancelling
Our supplier delivers your order directly. Once your payment is confirmed, we place the order with them.
You can cancel any time before we place it. If no money came in, the order is simply cancelled; if it did, the order becomes a refund we owe you.
If you cancel after we have placed it, we ask the supplier to stop the delivery straight away. If they confirm nothing has left, the order is cancelled and refunded; if it is already on its way it cannot be cancelled, but you can refuse it at the door, and a refused order is refunded.
Refunds
Refunds go back by transfer, to the number the money came from. A static payment QR does not tell us that number, so staff will confirm it with you at reconciliation or when the refund is arranged.
Refunds are made by a person, normally within three working days of being agreed. You get an SMS when the transfer has gone.
Partial refunds are possible. Anything still owed stays in the queue against your order until it is paid back in full.
Any part paid in Tipsy Coin is not refunded in cash; the coins go straight back to your balance.
Delivery, and refusing it
Delivery is about two working days after your payment is confirmed, on weekdays only and not on public holidays. We tell you the day once it is confirmed.
You can also pick a delivery day and time (morning or afternoon) at checkout, and we pass it to the supplier. If your payment is confirmed too late for that day, it moves to the earliest day we can deliver.
If you refuse the delivery at the door, the supplier takes it back and the order becomes a refund.
We only sell to people aged 18 or over, and you confirm your age when you order.
Allocations
Allocation bottles cannot be added to a cart. You register, and the shop offers them in queue order.
An offer has to be paid within the window the notice states. After that it passes to the next person in the queue.
Two lapsed offers in a row and registration is barred for a while.
